  • SEA FREIGHT: The most cost efficient and main shipping method for global import and export businesses. We can arrange shipping from our factory, from our nearest port shanghai, to your nearest port, or all the way to your facilities (not including tariff and taxes). We can ship full container loads (FCL) or less than full container loads (LCL). Rates for a 40' container is only about 50% more than a 20' container and the 40' HQ is about the same price as a 40' GP container. Max load is about 20 tons. Our sales reps can advise you on shipping tips. For example, if you are at less than 8cmb we will advise you to just ship LCL. If you are over 15cbm you may consider buying more to load a full container since the cheapest way will be to ship a FCL anyway. The minimum billable weight/volume for LCL is 1 cbm or 1 ton, so for orders under 100kg we may suggest air freight or even express shipping.
Transportation by ocean is quite slow so proper planning is key. We suggest placing orders 3 months in advance. For example. If you need your goods ready for the Christmas season, you better place your order in August or even earlier. You can also split up your shipment into 2 parts: small percentage by air, rest by sea.
Clearing and picking up or having your order delivered can be done by the buyer or customs broker. You will be resposible to file entry documents to customs, arrange for payment of any duties, taxes and other fees. Depending on the country, it can get tricky; so we suggest using custom brokers for assistance. We will provide you with a Bill of Lading, Invoice, Certificate of Origin, and Packing List. Always check to make sure the information is complete and accurate and forward them to your customs broker as soon as possible.
  • AIR FREIGHT: The best way to ship medium-sized shipments (over 100kg) or when your timeline cannot wait for sea freight. Air freight rates are based on weight and volume. Some items like foam takes up lots of space but is very light and some items like iron is very heavy but takes up little space. Actual freight costs take weight and volume both into consideration. In general, the transit time is no longer than 10 working days and usually only 3-5 days. (Please note that air freight is just delivery to your nearest airport. Your freight agent will still need to handle customs clearance and inland transportation to your warehouse). An Air Waybill (AWB) is documentary proof of the contract between EM and the carrier. The AWB will be delivered with the air cargo and serves as a delivery receipt, a form of invoice, an insurance certificate, and a document required for customs clearance.
  • COURIER SERVICES (EXPRESS SHIPPING): The fastest and easiest shipping method and is great for samples (under $2000usd), small quantity goods and for documents. The top three couriers are DHL, FEDEX, and UPS; but we also ship via EMS and China Post (transit times not as dependable as the top three). We can help you select the best carrier for each shipment to maximize your interests based on safety, price and transit time. We will actively monitor shipments and notify you of delays and help with any problems with the carrier. We do not, however, have the power to help with local/state/national laws in your country. Some countries have regulations making it difficult to import our products into your country. Please double check with a customs broker and with local authorities before placing an order.
